History
About
Born and raised in Plymouth, Jordan spent most of her early years exploring the natural beauty of Devon and Cornwall with her family, growing an appreciation for flowers and plants from a young age. Blooming Edens get it's name from The Eden Project, where Jordan's passion for flowers (and floral photography!) grew. Upon her graduation from university in 2021, she moved to Reading and found her first work within the floral industry with 7 Flowers & Tea.

Training
Graduating with First Class Honours from Arts University Plymouth in Game Arts, Jordan has had a lifelong passion for the arts. She specialised in concept art, taking her time to study the natural form to reinterpret in her own vision. Upon graduating, she moved to Reading and fell into floristry with the wonderful women at 7 Flowers & Tea. She trained under their watch, and here she became store manager, learning a mix of French/Asian floral design. She aided the shop in winning two 'Best Florist in Berkshire' awards in 2023 and 2024, taking pride in everything she achieved alongside this in her starting years.

Blooming Edens
Blooming Edens launched in September 2024 upon Jordan moving to Leeds. With the support of her partner, (a.k.a The Unpaid Intern) they hope to bring a unique design style focusing on interesting colour combinations and distinctive textures to the people of Leeds and West Yorkshire. Making the most of her artistic background, Jordan approaches floristry in her own unique way - aiming to bring her love of fantasy and nature to the general public. She has a combined 11 years of experience in art & floristry, and she can't wait to learn even more in her journey!
Blooming Edens stocks fresh and dried flowers alongside indoor plants daily; and specialises in weddings and events. Personal and business flower-themed workshops are available.
About Blooming Edens
Hi, I’m Jordan, and I’m the one-woman show behind Blooming Edens. You may have seen me scattered around markets in Leeds, or rushed off my feet servicing weddings in the North, but if you haven’t - that’s no worry!
I’m stubbornly optimistic, and a 'somewhat' controlled ball of confidence... and I like to think all of that carries across through my flower arrangements. I love all things weird, wonderful and ✨whimsical✨, so if that sounds like a bit of you, why not stay around a while?
Outside of floristry, my hobbies consist of TTRPGs, board games, reading, crafting, and general nerd activities. I have 6 pets (5 geckos and a corn snake), as well as an Unpaid Intern, a.k.a my partner, who you might see scattered throughout my posting, or assisting in the day-to-day running of things.
I’m an inclusive florist, and extremely LGBTQIA+ friendly - I work with people from all walks of life, and will always do my best to stay educated. I am also working to keep my business as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible, so if you want to hear more about my sustainability ethos, feel free to ask, or visit my Sustainability page! 🌈
I hope this helps paint a picture of just who is behind all the flowers here - it's a joy to have you! 💙
“Jordan is a very personable individual, very charismatic and friendly with her customers, and this is reflected in her work. Her bouquets are always very unique, while still taking into consideration the client's requests, and they never fail to look great even as she is able to work efficiently and quickly while taking good care of the flowers she handles.” - Jodi
